Healing Strides Counseling seeks an experienced Commercial Real Estate/Leasing Transactions Associate to join its Real Estate and Development practice. The role involves handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing for a diverse client base across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of commercial real estate transactional experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and admission to the state bar in the relevant location.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of commercial real estate transactional experience at a law firm.
• Substantial experience with commercial leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate financing transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, particularly involving leases and related agreements.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Admission to the state bar in the selected office location is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, lease amendments, assignments, subleases, letters of intent, and related agreements.
• Advise landlords and tenants on sophisticated commercial leasing transactions.
• Review and analyze complex real estate agreements and transaction documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on real estate development and transactional matters.
• Manage multiple transactions while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering practical legal advice.
