Job summary

Parkhill seeks a professional civil engineer specializing in site development to join our team in Lubbock, Texas. This full-time exempt role offers a chance to advance design skills while contributing to Parkhill's diverse site development projects.

The candidate will lead engineers and technicians, supervise pavement, utilities, grading, drainage, and site elements, and manage client relationships, zoning familiarity, and hearings presentations. Texas PE and 6+ years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required and Texas PE is required.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant site development/ civil engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineers and technicians and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and technicians on site development projects.
• Provide technical supervision and design for pavement, utilities, grading, site elements and drainage.
• Develop and manage client relationships and project scopes, fees, and schedules.
• Familiar with local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and design criteria.
• Coordinate surveying support and present at hearings and council meetings.
• Work on office/site subdivision, municipal roadway, drainage and planning projects.
