The role centers on Hydroprocessing & Renewable Technologies, delivering technology transfers for UOP-licensed or UOP-designed units, collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure safe, profitable operation and successful project execution.

You will report directly to our Sr Chemical Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Houston, TX location on an on-site work schedule.
The Chemical Engineer III Technical Services Specialist position for Hydroprocessing & Renewable Technologies provides technical support for a range of UOP technologies such as Hydrotreating, Hydrocracking, Ecofining and UOP Heavy Oil technologies. The primary accountability of the position is to complete the transfer of our technology in order to deliver to our customers' UOP-licensed or UOP-designed units / units loaded with UOP catalyst that operate optimally, profitably and safely. To do so, the Specialist will have regular interaction with external customers, and with other UOP personnel involved in technology delivery projects. In addition to customer contact, the position provides interaction with all the UOP departments involved with technology delivery. The interaction with other UOP departments provides excellent exposure as well as providing knowledge of accountabilities in other areas.
