Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer in Franklin, TN, offering a hybrid work model. You will design, automate, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure, strengthen security, and improve CI/CD pipelines across applications.

The role requires 7+ years in cloud engineering with strong IaC, scripting, and Linux administration, plus collaboration with security and DevOps teams to reduce manual effort and cost.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years hands-on AWS experience supporting production environments.
• Deep hands-on AWS experience with EC2, S3, VPC, IAM.
• IaC experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with Git-based source control and modern branching practices.
• Hands-on Linux systems administration.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and continuously improve AWS cloud infrastructure for apps.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Automate repeatable operational tasks with scripting and AWS services.
• Support account architecture, IAM, networking, monitoring, backup, and security.
• Design highly available, resilient, and scalable cloud environments.
• Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions.
• Monitor environments for performance, cost, and health metrics.
