Job summary

Weinstein Spira & Company is seeking a Senior Auditor in a hybrid role, with onsite work at least two days per week in Houston. You will lead planning and fieldwork for audits, supervise staff, and ensure quality and on-time delivery for client engagements. A CPA path and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Public Accounting experience in financial statement auditing.
• 6 months+ in-charging experience on audit engagements.
• Completion of all requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and fieldwork phases of the audit engagement and assist with final issuance and wrap up.
• Maintain budgets and timelines for engagements.
• Maintain communications with client, staff and engagement managers.
• Supervise and review work of Audit Staff.
• Provide training, feedback and mentoring to staff.
• Uphold professional standards and independence requirements.
