Job summary

Northern Trust in Chicago is seeking a skilled professional for Private Capital Administration to manage accounting, financial reporting, and investor reporting for private equity funds. You will oversee complex projects and interact with committees and senior management to ensure accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in private equity accounting, a related four-year degree, and (preferred) CPA.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree in accounting or related business field and CPA is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to work with financial data and reporting.
• Experience with private equity accounting and familiarity with in-house systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting, analytical, and financial reporting duties for client and investor activity.
• Serve as a technical accounting expert and advisor on significant business decisions.
• Prepare, compile, and verify external client and regulatory reporting; support stockholder/investor reporting.
