Europerfumes, Englewood, NJ (Hybrid), seeks a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll, and compliance for multiple entities and divisions. The role emphasizes accuracy, process discipline, and cross-functional collaboration with leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities and divisions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial data and investigate account variances to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Maintain detailed and well-documented workpapers for balance sheet accounts, tax support, and key P&L accounts.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and established internal controls.
• Assist with year-end audits, reviews, and requests from external accountants and auditors.
