Job summary

Equality Health is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage treasury, tax, AR, and month-end close in a primarily remote role with occasional onsite collaboration at headquarters. The position reports to the VP of the Controller within the Shared Services Finance team.

Ideal candidates will have a strong corporate accounting background, superb attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential payroll and financial data. Hybrid work arrangement offered in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Strong ability to handle confidential payroll and financial data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and assist in monthly close.
• Collaborate with leaders on accounting projects.
• Prepare reconciliations and research variances.
• Support audits and respond to audit requests.
• Identify process improvements across ownership areas.
• Overtime may be required.
