Job summary

Brilliant is seeking a Senior Accountant in a hybrid role in Eastern Cleveland. The position involves hands-on accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting to support growing operations.

You will perform journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure GAAP compliance in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting and 4+ years of experience with ERP systems, leading the controller's close, and strong general ledger mastery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems and hands-on with the Controller.

Our P/E backed client is looking for their next Senior Accountant. This role is Hybrid (3 days in office) in Eastern Cleveland.

The Senior Accountant will play a hands-on key role in core accounting functions, month-end close, and financial reporting that help support the continued growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, and support schedule preparation.
• Execute month-end close responsibilities in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and established financial procedures while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and accountability.
• Compile, analyze, and refine financial data to support management reporting.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of the general ledger system and related financial tools to support efficient processing and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Required.
• 4+ years of experience in Accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems and be hands-on w/the Controller.

Salary Range: 100-110K+ Bonus DOE, Education, License, Etc...
