Entrust Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer II to design and develop a comprehensive suite of smart card personalization products. You will build HSM firmware to support our robust key management solution and contribute to Java and other modern web technologies, following industry best practices in security.

The ideal candidate will work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, participate in code reviews, and collaborate across teams in a hybrid setup with three days per week in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technology discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in C programming.
• Experience with cryptographic programming – PKCS#11, encryption, key management.
• Experience with one or more Java, C#, Python or React.
• Experience working on multi-person teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document and deploy software for smart card personalization products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in requirement reviews, code reviews, unit testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and other groups within the organization.
• Follow secure development lifecycle, threat modelling, and security assessments.
