Apex Systems is seeking a Security Assurance Engineer in Boston, MA (Hybrid) for a fixed-term contract through 6/30/27. The role focuses on defining security requirements, reviewing architectures, conducting risk analyses, and coordinating vulnerability testing and remediation across AWS, Salesforce, and AI-enabled services.

Qualificações

• Five or more years of professional experience in application security, cloud security, product security, security engineering, or a closely related field.
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field; CISSP or comparable certification may substitute.
• Experience coordinating SAST, DAST, and penetration testing; risk analysis; remediation and tracking findings.
• Familiarity with Jira, Salesforce-based applications, Tenable Cloud, Veracode, GitHub, and GitHub Copilot.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Define and document security requirements, control objectives, implementation details, and acceptance criteria for planned releases and production changes.
• Review application architecture, data flows, integrations, and control designs across AWS, Salesforce, AI-enabled services, identity, logging, deployment, and document handling.
• Perform project-specific risk analyses; document inherent and residual risks with recommended treatment options.
• Coordinate SAST/DAST, vulnerability testing, and remediation efforts; track findings and escalation.
• Coordinate security work across EOED MSSP, vendors, and project teams; monthly reporting of hours and deliverables.
