Job summary

Federated Hermes is seeking a Technical Security Architect to join our Global Technology Organization in Warrendale, PA. This role partners across technology teams to define the security vision, build a cross-enterprise strategy, and advance a roadmap aligning people, processes, and technology with business objectives.

The ideal candidate brings 7–12 years of information security experience, deep knowledge of securing applications, OS and networks, and hands-on experience with Next-Generation

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT related field required.
• 7–12 years of experience in designing and implementing information security systems.
• Experience securing applications, operating systems and networks.
• Knowledge of security technologies including Next-Generation Firewalls, Email Security, monitoring, IAM and endpoint protection.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple technology teams to identify the technology vision.
• Ensure the environment evolves to support the firm’s objectives across groups.
• Create an Information Security Strategy to enable secure use of technology.
• Assist in building a strategic roadmap sequencing people, process and tech.
• Execute the roadmap by streamlining security tools and investing in emerging technology.
• Provide security expertise for initiatives such as data governance and account administration.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining information security standards and policies.
