Job summary

Addison Group in the Dallas–Fort Worth area seeks a Security Analyst with 2–5 years of experience to enhance our cybersecurity posture. You will contribute to security initiatives, implement new tools, and support cross-team risk remediation within a growing corporate environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with SIEM, vulnerability management, DLP, and IPS, with opportunities to lead security projects and influence security practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a Security Analyst role.
• Experience supporting end-to-end security initiatives, including architecture, implementation, and security infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and vulnerability management.
• Experience with data loss prevention (DLP) systems.
• Experience with intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end security projects, including architecture, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of information security controls.
• Work with SIEM tools to monitor threats, investigate security events, and support risk remediation.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and vulnerability management.
• Support incident response activities and remediation efforts.
• Maintain and support data loss prevention (DLP) and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
• Participate in the implementation of new security tools and technologies.
• Identify opportunities to improve security processes, controls, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address cybersecurity risks and strengthen security practices.
