You will support capital markets, bank financing, securitizations, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with executives, outside counsel, and regulators.

The role emphasizes independent work, risk assessment, and clear communication with senior management.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Eight or more years of experience practicing law. Your combined experience can be at a law firm, corporate in-house setting, or government authority.
• Current member in good standing of the State Bar of California or willingness and ability to become accredited as such.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on financing, securities, governance, and transactional matters.
• Support capital markets, bank financing, and securitization transactions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, outside counsel, and regulators.
• Develop and implement legal strategies; advise on regulatory changes.
• Lead regulatory filings and hearings with agencies like CPUC and FERC.
• Ensure protection of company data and cybersecurity assets.
