Job summary

Blackstone Talent Group is seeking a hybrid Scrum Master/Software Engineer in the United States, with 3–5+ years of Java development and strong Agile experience. The role blends servant leadership with hands-on coding, testing, and CI/CD responsibilities for the Planner subsystem.

Occasional PI planning, backlog refinement, and cross-team coordination are required to deliver high-quality, mission-critical software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience in Java/J2EE or similar OO language.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Experience using Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to support Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives to drive team velocity.
• Contribute hands-on Java development for the Planner subsystem.
• Design, code, test, debug, and maintain Java applications and CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate PI planning and manage cross-team dependencies in SAFe environments.
• Ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable software delivery with timely impediment removal.
