Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a full-time School Psychologist for the Chesapeake Beach area for the 2026–2027 school year. The role supports a collaborative Special Education Team, with flexibility for hybrid candidates, new grads, and out-of-state applicants pursuing Maryland licensure.

The position entails itinerant work between two nearby schools within K12, with a 35-hour week schedule and local hourly pay in the mid-$40s to mid-$50s, plus travel stipends for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required in School Psychology or related field.
• Maryland School Psychologist Certification (or ability to obtain) is required.
• Reliable transportation to the Chesapeake Beach area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students from elementary through 12th grade.
• Administer and interpret a variety of assessments.
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports and present findings to multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other special education meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student outcomes.
• Provide consultation and evidence-based strategies to educators regarding cognitive and learning needs as team capacity grows.
