Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a School-Based Therapist to deliver mental health services in school settings and at home or office locations as needed. The role focuses on children, adolescents, and families, coordinating with schools, DCS, and others to implement treatment plans.

You will provide evidence-based interventions, document care, and participate in supervision while working across multiple sites to meet program needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a discipline eligible for mental health licensure in Tennessee or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of child development and therapeutic interventions.
• Sensitivity to diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Ability to travel and work at multiple service locations.
• Flexible hours to meet program needs.
• Strong mentoring, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients at intake and conduct community-based visitations.
• Transport clients as required to support service delivery.
• Provide Clarvida-approved interventions including coping skills and crisis intervention.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy to clients and families.
• Develop and update Treatment Plans with the treatment team.
• Ensure plans align with state licensing and COA standards.
• Coordinate with schools, DCS, and court personnel to advocate for clients.
• Attend supervision and treatment team meetings; present cases as required.
• Document timely and accurately; address documentation gaps promptly.
• Contribute to QA cycles; assist with data collection to improve services.
• Maintain flexibility to provide services across multiple locations.
