Job summary

Topaz HR Advisory is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a nationwide school-based therapy program in Elk Grove, CA. This full-time, in-person/hybrid role focuses on assessing and treating children’s communication needs.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, provide engaging therapy, collaborate with parents and educators, and document progress toward IEP goals, with comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience.
• Experience with AAC devices is required.
• Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language development.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children and families.
• Experience with early intervention strategies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech and language needs of children and conduct thorough assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide engaging speech therapy sessions tailored to each child's unique needs.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve outcomes.
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to support children's development.
• Monitor and document students' progress during therapy sessions.
• Support students in achieving their IEP goals.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
