Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Project Manager (SAP EWM) for a hybrid contract opportunity in the United States. The PM will oversee automated warehouse initiatives tied to a large SAP EWM deployment, aligning technology, operations, validation, and automation teams.

Responsibilities include leading the automated warehouse workstream, coordinating with stakeholders and global groups, and managing timelines, risks, and deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SAP EWM deployments in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments.
• Ability to integrate SAP EWM with S/4HANA and warehouse control systems.
• Experience with validation/compliance in regulated environments.
• Strong cross-functional leadership across IT, operations, and supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution activities for the automated warehouse portion of a SAP EWM implementation project.
• Coordinate efforts across internal stakeholders, automation partners, warehouse control system teams, and global business groups.
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution to support milestones.
• Drive operational readiness related to system validation, master data, testing, and deployment planning.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication between warehouse operations, IT, engineering, and supply chain teams.
