Job summary

The State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services (DAS), Bureau of Information Technology Solutions (BITS) seeks a Salesforce Developer (Information Technology Analyst 2) to lead maintenance of legacy applications and develop Salesforce solutions for the Department of Social Services (DSS) Micro Apps Team.

The role emphasizes Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and API integrations within a hybrid on-site/remote environment in Hartford.

Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce declarative development using Process Builder, Workflow Rules and the Lightning App Builder.
Experience with Salesforce programming, including Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Apex, SOQL/SOSL.
Experience with Salesforce architecture, APIs, security configuration, sharing rules and user management.
Experience with Agile software development and integration techniques (REST/SOAP, OAuth, SSO, CI/CD).

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions and integrations.
Design scalable, maintainable Salesforce applications and architectures.
Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions including Apex, Triggers, LWC, Visualforce, and external data integrations.
Automate business processes using Salesforce tools (Process Builder, Workflows, Flow).
Assist in estimating work effort, resources, and schedules; participate in code reviews and testing.
