Performance Foodservice in Newberry, SC is seeking a Router to create and manage delivery routes, using Roadnet and other systems, with a Sunday-Thursday schedule. You will ensure cost efficiency, safety, and on-time delivery while coordinating with drivers, sales, transportation, and warehouse teams.

The role requires attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office, and 1–3 years in distribution or logistics. This is a hybrid position with potential for growth within the transportation department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years distribution, logistics, transportation or related work experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Establish delivery routes that are cost effective and compliant with DOT guidelines and customer service targets.
• Establish routing procedures and schedules for optimal use of personnel and equipment.
• Perform daily Roadnet routing maintenance to ensure accurate, timely information across locations.
• Produce driver manifests and distribute nightly reports.
• Perform cost/time reporting and KPI related tasks at scheduled intervals.
• Provide maps and driving instructions for drivers unfamiliar with routes.
