Job summary

University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation in Madison, WI is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Behavioral Health and Recovery Clinic. You will perform telephone triage, manage in-basket messaging, and administer long-acting injectables in the ambulatory setting to help treat opiate use and alcohol dependence for adult patients.

The position is hybrid with 80% FTE, 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, no weekends or holidays, and cross-coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 6 months of RN experience required.
• RN license in the state or compact
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire
• Applicable clinical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform telephone triage and manage in-basket messaging.
• Administer long-acting injectable medications in ambulatory care.
• Support providers with patient intake assessments for mental health care, focusing on alcohol and other drug abuse disorders.
