• Serve as the center of patient flow and coordinate transfers.

• Manage inpatient flow from preadmission through discharge.
• Provide clinical screening for admission requests.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for urgent transfers.
• Document clinical information in electronic medical records.
• Facilitate admission details and assign beds.
• Communicate with physicians for issue resolution.
• Identify and report quality management issues.
• Serve as a resource for inpatient bed availability.
• Participate in coverage and on-call systems.
