Job summary

BMW Group in Woodcliff Lake, NJ is seeking a Risk Management and AI Solutions Analyst. This hybrid role focuses on maintaining Enterprise Risk Management activities, updating risk strategies, and leading AI-enabled transformations across VaR, Economic Capital, and governance processes.

You will collaborate with finance, risk, and technology teams, ensuring accuracy, documentation, and compliance while driving automation and improved risk reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience applying risk management, model governance, or control techniques.
• Practical knowledge of VaR, Economic Capital, CVaR/RVaR and basic statistics.
• Strong proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; SQL or low-code automation is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication across functions and to senior leadership.
• MBA in Business Administration, Risk Management, or Economics with quantitative focus preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current Enterprise Risk Management activities with CVaR, RVaR, and Economic Capital calculations; communicate results to senior leadership.
• Compile and review the BMW FS Risk Catalogue and maintain risk inventories under the ERM framework.
• Review and update the BMW FS Risk Strategy to align with business and global strategies.
• Lead AI transformation topics for legacy risk processes, defining target-state workflows and automation opportunities.
• Design AI-assisted use cases for risk documentation, workflow routing, and governance reporting.
• Review and update Risk Model Governance Policy with regulatory requirements and business feedback.
• Coordinate monthly National Risk Committee materials and explore automation of preparation tasks via AI workflows.
• Collaborate with HQ Strategic Risk and US stakeholders to advocate AI-enabled process improvements.
