Job summary

DeepSig Inc. seeks an RF Systems Deployment Engineer to bridge AI-RAN products with customers, integrating them into field deployments and validating performance at testing sites.

You will work hands-on with RF hardware, SDRs, and the OCUDU stack, traveling to customer sites as deployments require. The role emphasizes lab-to-field deployment, troubleshooting, and collaboration within a small team.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 4+ years deploying, integrating or supporting RF systems in real environments.
• Hands-on experience with SDRs (USRP, Epiq, or similar) and RF hardware.
• Comfortable with RF test equipment: spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, etc.
• Knowledge of wireless fundamentals including OFDM, timing and RF impairments.
• Strong Linux skills: networking, drivers, and Python/shell scripting.
• Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) to deploy software in the field.
• Willing to learn 5G NR and O-RAN deployment (gNB, O-RU, timing, fronthaul).
• Methodical troubleshooting across hardware, RF, timing, network and software layers.

Responsibilities

• Own customer and partner integrations of DeepSig software end to end: scoping deployment, configuring radios, timing, networking, and installation.
• Plan and execute site visits: surveys, BOMs, on-site bring-up, OTA validation, and test-event support.
• Bring up and troubleshoot deployed systems across RF front ends to software stack.
• Capture RF data in the field to validate performance and feed ML datasets.
• Reproduce field issues in the lab and hand defects to responsible teams.
• Write and maintain deployment procedures and runbooks for repeatable installs.
• Build lab test setups and interoperability tests with partner radios and test equipment.
• Serve as technical point of contact for customers during integration.
• Support product managers with demonstrations and customer feedback on deployability.
