Job summary

Airgas in Borger, TX is hiring a Retail Counter Sales/Back Up Driver with Hazmat. You'll greet customers, process sales, and assist on the counter while supporting safe gas deliveries when necessary.

The role blends inside sales with driving responsibilities for delivering essential gases and welding products. Candidates must hold a TX CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements and have prior driving experience.

Flexible schedule Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid TX Commercial Driver’s License.
• Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements.
• One (1) year of prior Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a clean driving record.
• In lieu of experience, may consider accepting a diploma from an accredited driving school.
• Ability to lift/move up to 60 pounds and with equipment up to 125 pounds.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Build Relationships: be the first point of contact for customers in-store or by phone.
• Drive Growth: participate in inside sales, provide quotes, and assess customer needs.
• Ensure a Smooth Operation: keep shelves organized and process sales in the system.
• Be a Reliable Backup: use Class B CDL to deliver gases and welding products when needed.
