Job summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking a Retail Communications + Operations Coordinator in Philadelphia to support daily store communications and operational processes, helping keep retail teams informed, organized, and customer-focused.

Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will coordinate information between Home Office and stores, manage weekly Store Communications, calendars, and resources, and assist in executing brand priorities across store teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication and editing to make information clear, engaging, and actionable.
• Exceptional organization with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and recurring processes.
• Strong project coordination, ownership, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to understand store experience and judge what is timely and relevant for retail teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the weekly production of the UO Download and publish store communications.
• Write, edit, and distribute store and field communications supporting operations, product, and brand initiatives.
• Review store-facing content for clarity, relevance, accuracy, action, and timing.
• Develop and execute retail communication plans and initiatives with the Communications Manager.
• Own and develop the UO intranet with pages, content, tools, and resources.
• Coordinate Store Operations meetings and prepare agendas and materials.
• Build presentations and recaps using brand templates and standards.
• Identify opportunities to simplify communications and processes for store teams.
• Coordinate the Retail Calendar and cross-functional information gathering to keep deliverables on schedule.
• Create and manage tools and resources for store planning and execution.
