Job summary

Cayuse Holdings in Austin, TX is seeking a Responsible AI Lead to establish and operationalize the organization's approach to Responsible AI and AI governance across internal and third-party AI solutions. This leader will design frameworks and controls to support ethical, safe deployment and enterprise adoption, reporting to the VP Data & AI.

The role requires collaboration with legal, IT, compliance, and business units; you will monitor laws, lead risk assessments, and translate regulations

Qualifications

Experience designing and implementing Responsible AI or data governance frameworks.
Understanding of risks such as bias, privacy, and model drift.
Ability to embed governance into SDLC and change management.
Strong communication with technical and business audiences.
Familiarity with AI/ML risk assessment methods.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage AI governance framework across AI lifecycle.
Incorporate regulatory requirements (GDPR, EU AI Act) into policies.
Define ownership and decision rights for AI adoption.
Embed governance into operational processes and vendor reviews.
Lead AI risk assessments and remediation efforts.
Provide actionable leadership dashboards on AI risk and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure responsible AI.
Evaluate use cases and vendor solutions for readiness and risk.
