Job summary

Consumers Energy is seeking a Contract Technical Assistant (Resource Scheduler) through Magnit. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence 3 or 4 days a week in Lansing or Jackson, MI.

You will support the Gas Distribution Department within Maintenance & Construction Scheduling, acting as a Work Scheduler and Resource Scheduler to coordinate crews and contractors. Responsibilities include identifying scheduling needs, coordinating with third-party contractors, and ensuring timely completion

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience as a resource and work scheduler.
• SAP experience is required.
• Lean six sigma experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Associates degree or higher.
• Professional demeanor.
• Proactive in addressing day-to-day issues.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify jobs needing completion and schedule work for various crews.
• Line up work with 3rd party contractors and additional resources as needed per job.
• Work as a hybrid Resource Scheduler in Maintenance & Construction Scheduling.
