Job summary

Harvard University’s Harvard Business School seeks multiple Research Associates to support faculty on writing- and content-focused work. The successful candidates will have a strong understanding of business topics and prior writing experience.

The RA position reports to faculty supervisors and the Research Staff Services office. Ideal candidates are comfortable with independence, intellectual curiosity, and discretionary judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with GPA above 3.5.
• Ability to read academic information and write a reasoned analysis.
• High standards, attention to detail, strong organization skills.
• Experience with high-quality academic writing and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with navigating a complex organization is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Work under the general direction of faculty on topics central to HBS research agenda.
• Write cases, supplements, project reports, and drafts for a book project.
• Translate complex research ideas into clear writing for business audiences.
• Collaborate on-site with colleagues and stakeholders as needed.
