University of Michigan–Flint is seeking a driven individual to join the Inclusive History Project (IHP) team. The role involves assisting with research initiatives focused on the University of Michigan in the Middle East Project, reporting to the Director of Research and Program Coordinator.

The ideal candidate has archival research experience and knowledge of local Middle Eastern culture, with in-person work on the UM-Flint campus and possible travel to Dearborn and Ann Arbor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in History or related field.
• 1+ year of in-person archival research.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Willingness to travel to Dearborn and Ann Arbor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the IHP Director of Research and Program Coordinator on research initiatives.
• Contribute to expanding archival research and data collection.
