Job summary

CHEManager International in Oak Lawn, IL seeks a Research Associate to manage multi-site studies, coordinate data collection, and ensure timely deliverables. The role blends on-site and remote work within a hybrid schedule, requiring up to 80% on-site in the Chicago area and occasional travel to sites near Advocate Christ and Advocate Trinity Medical Centers.

Qualifications

Ability to understand and communicate research protocol requirements to others.
Some experience writing standard operating procedures (SOP).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Some experience with developing and maintaining a variety of databases and spreadsheets, generating reports and dashboards.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must be able to establish rapport with patients, investigators, and external collaborators.
Experience in using EMR systems, with Epic as a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary research associate on studies across multiple sites and manage timelines and deliverables.
Support and perform data collection, data management, and data cleaning in collaboration with scientists and investigators.
Interact with research subjects in-person, over the phone, or online and coordinate recruitment, screening, enrollment, and data collection.
Conduct literature searches and results reporting in collaboration with research scientists and investigators.
Ensure appropriate completion and documentation of regulatory materials, source documentation, data collection, and study records in a timely manner.
Ensure study team conducts research activities ethically and safely per policies and standards.
Serve as a resource to other research team members, investigators and collaborators, and assist with training plans.
Support investigators in preparing abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and presentations.
Interface with IRB and other offices to facilitate support and reporting of ongoing research.
Coordinate project meetings between scientists, teams and collaborators to ensure project success.
