Job summary

Michigan State University College of Human Medicine is seeking a capable RA 3S for the CAPACITY Lab in Flint. The role entails managing NIH-funded projects on mental health interventions in legal settings serving youth and families, developing data collection procedures, and coordinating research activities.

The candidate will supervise staff, design studies, analyze data, and contribute to manuscripts and grants. This is a hybrid, in-person position with regular travel to the region.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Mental Health or related field.
• One to three years of related research experience in social science methods is preferred.
• Experience with manuscript preparation and grant writing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage NIH-funded research projects focused on mental health interventions in youth-focused legal settings.
• Develop and implement data collection procedures and study protocols.
• Coordinate and supervise research staff and students.
• Analyze data and refine study design; prepare reports and publications.
