Job summary

Onward Energy seeks a Development Project Manager to lead utility-scale project development across renewable and thermal portfolios. You will drive schedules, budgets, environmental permitting, interconnection, land rights, and stakeholder engagement, coordinating with teams across M&A, origination, and operations.

The role requires 5+ years in energy development and strong communication, with a proactive, team-driven approach. Hybrid work model and robust benefits available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field as described above.
• 5-10+ years in energy development or related field.
• PMP or other project management certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets with team and contractors.
• Advance all development aspects: permitting, interconnection, land rights, stakeholder engagement, offtake activities.
• Cultivate relationships with load serving entities, contractors, regulators, and local communities.
• Support cross-functional teams including M&A, origination, engineering, and operations.
