Job summary

Raymond James Renewable Energy Investment (RJREI) is seeking a Modeling Associate to join the Product Origination team. You will develop and maintain complex financial models, analyze project economics, and support underwriting, forecasting, and scenario analyses across renewable energy and tax credit opportunities.

The role involves coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders to produce analytical summaries and investor materials, while monitoring market developments.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with Excel proficiency.
• Working knowledge of finance, accounting, tax, valuation, and investment concepts; renewable energy/project finance preferred.
• Ability to translate model outputs into clear conclusions for senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of underwriting, forecasting, valuation, scenario and sensitivity analyses.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and analyze financial models for renewable energy and tax credit investments.
• Support underwriting by reviewing project assumptions, revenue structures, operating expenses, capital requirements, financing terms, and tax attributes.
• Develop forecasts for project performance, returns, tax credits, cash funding needs, and other metrics.
• Perform valuation analyses to assess investment economics and pricing.
