The role involves building and maintaining financial models, analyzing project economics, and preparing materials for Investment Committee presentations. This position emphasizes advanced Excel, analytical rigor, and collaboration across multiple teams, with hybrid work in Saint Petersburg, FL.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy or project finance.
• Experience developing and reviewing complex financial models.
• Experience with renewable energy investments or project finance preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for sophisticated financial models.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and analyze financial models for renewable energy and tax credit investments.
• Support underwriting of prospective investments by reviewing project assumptions and inputs affecting economics.
• Develop forecasts for project performance, returns, tax credits, and funding requirements.
• Perform valuation analyses to assess investment economics and pricing.
• Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing on key assumptions.
• Review sponsor and third-party models for consistency and accuracy.
• Support Product Origination in evaluating new opportunities and economic proposals.
• Prepare analytical summaries and charts for Investment Committee presentations and investor materials.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to incorporate diligence findings.
• Assist with investor/transaction requests by providing timely financial analysis.
• Maintain organized model files and supporting documentation per RJREI standards.
• Monitor market developments and regulatory considerations affecting underwriting.
• Support portfolio planning and forecasting initiatives for the Product Origination team.
