Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years of relevant fundraising experience, including grant seeking, plus two years in research/writing/relationship building.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward foundations to secure grants aligned with unit priorities.
• Build and maintain prospect portfolios, research capacity and funding levels for early engagement.
• Develop and edit proposals, letters of inquiry, and stewardship materials; target a minimum of 24 major gifts/grants ($100k+) annually with a $3M fundraising goal.
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 50 foundations and maintain relationship records.
• Collaborate with colleagues across units and participate in ongoing fundraising strategy training.
