Buncombe County Government seeks a Centralized Data Entry Supervisor to lead the Identification Bureau's CDE team, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry operations.

The role oversees 4–12 staff, coordinates with peer supervisors, and reports to the Identification Bureau Director. Typical hours are 2:00–10:00 p.m. or 3:00–11:00 p.m., with primary work onsite at 59 Woodfin, Asheville, NC.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in criminal justice, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years in criminal justice/public safety including at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.

Responsabilités

• Maintain electronic data and equipment for CDE.
• Schedule staff to maintain 24/7 coverage; provide day-to-day supervision.
• Provide training on the use of computer equipment for bureau employees.
• Collect data, analyze, and prepare reports.
• Manage financial responsibilities; collect incoming property and supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
