Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to deliver a customer-centric, end-to-end banking experience across teller and desk responsibilities in a branch network.

You will welcome customers, open and service accounts, educate on digital tools, and coordinate with partners to ensure timely resolution while maintaining security and compliance. Hours are 37.5 per week with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits; travel to multiple branches

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal product knowledge, teller, and platform training.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional, and personalized customer experience during every interaction.
• Open new accounts, close accounts, initiate wire transfers, and support service requests while educating customers on features.
• Assist customers with balance discrepancies, debit card fraud, and other service needs; coordinate with internal partners for resolution.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools, self-service options, and best practices.
• Manage customer flow and wait times by scheduling or coordinating appointments with team members.
• Identify customer needs and refer to specialists for more complex financial needs.
• Support branch goals through needs-based conversations and relationship-building behaviors.
