AQI, under the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), seeks a Registry Systems and Reporting Specialist in Schaumburg, IL with a flexible hybrid schedule. The role supports NACOR, NACOR+ACR, and related registries, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The specialist collaborates with hospitals, EHR vendors, and AQI/ASA teams to validate submissions, conduct testing, and enable quality reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting clinical registries, healthcare data systems, or quality reporting programs.
• Experience troubleshooting healthcare data interfaces, ETL, HL7, FHIR, XML, CSV, or API integrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex data concepts.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced testing and validation of clinical registry data feeds and submissions.
• Supports UAT, regression testing, production validation, and release verification activities.
• Analyzes incoming registry data to identify anomalies and data quality improvements.
• Serves as Tier 3 escalation resource for complex registry-related issues.
• Partner with healthcare providers and vendors to test and validate registry submissions.
• Supports CMS reporting programs by validating measure eligibility and resolving discrepancies.
• Works with AQI and ASA teams to implement new registry capabilities and CMS changes.
• Provides training and guidance on data submission requirements and documentation.
