Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy in a hybrid setting. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to align care with patient goals and established guidelines.

The role includes nutrition assessments, program development, credential maintenance, and education material development. Schedule is 1.0 FTE (80 hours biweekly), with occasional weekends/holidays; hybrid with 3 on-site days and 2 remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or related field required.
• RD certification required within 6 months of hire; Iowa licensure required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Conducts nutrition assessments for patients at nutritional risk.
• Maintains productivity standards and prioritizes tasks.
• Assists in development of new/existing programs and services.
• Maintains dietetic registration and continuing education.
• Develops and revises patient education materials, forms, and protocols.
• Adheres to safety, infection control and colleague health policies.
