Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa seeks a registered dietitian to provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy as part of an interdisciplinary team. This full-time, hybrid role combines on-site and remote collaboration to align care with patients' treatment goals.

Responsibilities include nutrition assessment, developing care plans, ensuring compliance with standards, maintaining credentials, and supporting program development in a hospital setting in northeast Iowa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) within 6 months of hire and state licensure.
• Mandatory Reporter and nutrition therapy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conducts a nutrition assessment for patients at nutritional risk.
• Maintains productivity standards and manages time effectively.
• Assists in development of new/existing programs and services.
• Maintains dietetic registration and continuing education requirements.
• Develops and revises patient education materials, forms, and protocols.
