Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree with emphasis in nutrition preferred.
• Must have RD certification or be eligible to sit for the RD examination.
• 1 year of experience required; 1–3 years direct care with long-term care preferred.
• New York State licensure in dietetics-nutrition or equivalent certification accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutrition status and plan individualized resident care.
• Interpret data, modify care plans, and deliver nutrition care.
• Provide nutrition information via meals, test trays, and menu checks.
• Coordinate enteral nutrition orders and therapeutic diets with the team.
• Support QAPI initiatives and collaborate with Food Service Director.
