Pegasus Residential in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Property Accountant to join our team. You will work with Community Managers to ensure lease charges, deposits and receipts are accurately recorded in our property management and accounting systems; it also monitors cash positions and coordinates wire transfers.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree in Accounting or Finance, real estate accounting experience, strong Excel skills, GAAP knowledge, and clear communication.

Formación

• Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Preference for at least two years of real estate accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with Real Page (OneSite) is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as accounting liaison to properties and Community Managers.
• Monitor cash positions and notify Controller of shortfalls or concerns.
• Record wire transfers for mortgage/debt service, owner distributions, and payments.
• Record journal entries for depreciation, amortization, taxes, payroll, and accruals.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet; review monthly statements.
• Support audit workpapers and year-end field work.
