Job summary

REACH Community Development is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Real Estate portfolio and Analysis Manager with month-end closes, audits, reconciliations, and project funding. You will collaborate with Housing Development, Finance, Asset Management and property management partners to ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.

This hybrid role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across departments to meet program goals while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reconciliation practices.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial schedules, journal entries, and supporting docs.
• Assist with cash management, receivables, payables, and draw schedules.
• Provide budget-to-actual reporting and financial analysis.
• Support month-end closings, audits, and reconciliations.
• Record acquisitions, construction, and loan closings with project managers.
