Job summary

Aegon Asset Management (Aegon AM) seeks a Real Assets Research Intern to support the Real Assets Client Strategy team in Cedar Rapids. The internship will involve collecting, organizing, and synthesizing data related to macroeconomy, commercial real estate, and capital markets, with hands-on experience in data tools and dashboards.

You will work in person, 20 hours per week during school and full-time in January–August 2027, with mentorship from analysts and exposure to investment research

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled full-time at a college or university.
• Internship requires 20-hour weeks during school and full-time in summer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support market and portfolio research by analyzing data on real assets.
• Aggregate and summarize economic and real estate data into charts and visuals.
• Assist with presentations, memos, and client reports.
• Help maintain real estate data files, dashboards, and financial models.
• Attend internal meetings and shadow full-time analysts.
• Support portfolio analysis and internal reporting for strategy development.
