Job summary

Sloan is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for our Andover, MA office. You will test and inspect components and finished devices, report non-conformances, and monitor calibration of critical equipment. You will perform First Article Inspections, final testing, and help maintain calibration records.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years of relevant experience, and knowledge of measuring instruments. Proficiency in English, MS Word/Excel, and mechanical aptitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in quality control.
• Gage calibration and layout inspection using GD&T required.
• Basic math and proficient English communication.
• Experienced with MS Word and Excel; SAP ERP familiarity is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have mechanical aptitude.
• Technical training accepted in lieu of an degree.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect components and finished devices per work instructions and specs.
• Report non-conformances and monitor calibration of critical equipment.
• Inspect production components and subassemblies per drawings.
• Perform First Article Inspections and final product testing.
• Maintain calibration program and documentation.
• Update inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists.
• Assist shipping by receiving parts after hours and communicate with vendors.
