Job summary

Procore Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer 2 to elevate quality across our core web experience. This hybrid role, based in our Austin, TX office, involves working with Engineering, Product, and Design to ensure reliability and strong customer workflows.

You will lead in risk-based testing and AI-accelerated test design. Responsibilities include planning, executing, and maintaining tests, creating automation, and collaborating across teams to improve release confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA or Quality Engineering for web-based products with complex workflows.
• Hands-on automation using TypeScript and Playwright or comparable web/API automation frameworks.
• Experience designing risk-based, customer-centered test strategies and conducting independent failure investigations.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the software development lifecycle to identify risks, define test coverage, and provide release-readiness recommendations.
• Partner with customers during field/site visits to validate real-world workflows and inform testing decisions.
• Plan and execute functional, exploratory, regression, and release testing with proper test management records.
• Create and maintain web, API, and end-to-end automation using TypeScript and Playwright to improve release confidence.
• Investigate failures, reproduce defects, analyze root causes, and write clear bug reports.
• Collaborate across teams to surface risks and improve testing workflows.
• Integrate AI tooling into QA workflows to accelerate test design and bug prioritization.
