Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks a Python ETL Developer to support the EDM team in sourcing data to the cloud platform. The candidate will have strong Python data processing, ETL/ELT development, SQL, and experience with large datasets.

Responsibilities include sourcing data from internal and external sources, supporting existing processes, understanding user requirements, producing documentation, and providing production support. Hybrid onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Python ETL development experience.
• 8+ years in Data Management systems with Python-based solutions.
• Strong Python scripting and handling large datasets.
• Experience with Python data processing libraries.
• Strong SQL experience for data management.
• Experience building robust ETL/ELT processes for data extraction, loading, transformation.
• Experience sourcing data from internal and external sources into cloud platforms.
• Experience with reference Data Management systems.
• Knowledge of Power BI reporting.
• Excellent communication and independent work skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Use Python for ETL/ELT development and data processing in Finance.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT processes to move data to the cloud platform.
• Source data from internal and external systems and support existing processes.
• Work with end users to understand business and data requirements.
• Translate business processes into data and process models.
• Document data models, processes, requirements, and technical docs.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance applications and data processes.
• Provide production support and resolve data-related issues.
• Collaborate with an international team and manage workload.
