Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Python application development and SQL programming.
• 5+ years with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• 3+ years developing REST APIs, data integration, and automation frameworks.
• Strong SQL optimization, database design, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL/data integration and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Python frameworks: Flask, FastAPI, Django; Pandas competency.
• Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, APIs, and automation solutions using Python.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, procedures, views, and DB objects.
• Build and support ETL/data integration processes for analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with users, architects, and teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Monitor performance and implement performance tuning improvements.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production support.
• Develop integrations via REST APIs and data services.
• Apply database design/indexing/query optimization techniques.
• Support source control and CI/CD pipelines; mentor juniors.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and document technical work.
• Troubleshoot application, DB, integration, and production issues.
